Bone and joint disorders continue to be a major focus in orthopedic care, with ongoing advancements improving diagnosis, treatment, and long-term patient outcomes. Modern imaging techniques—such as high-resolution MRI, CT mapping, and ultrasound-based assessments—allow clinicians to evaluate cartilage health, subchondral bone changes, deformities, and early degenerative patterns with greater accuracy. Clinical management is increasingly guided by evidence-based protocols, integrating biomechanical assessment, disease-specific biomarkers, and individualized risk evaluation. Updated medical therapies, including newer anti-resorptive and anabolic agents for osteoporosis, as well as targeted treatments for inflammatory joint diseases, are helping reduce disability and delay disease progression. Surgical care for bone and joint conditions is continually evolving through improved fixation systems, joint preservation strategies, and refined techniques for managing fractures, deformities, and cartilage defects. Biological augmentation methods, such as PRP, stem cell-based therapies, and scaffold-supported cartilage repair, are being explored to enhance healing in selected cases.
