Abstract
The application
of platelet-rich plasma has been gaining strength within the treatments
proposed for the management of gonarthrosis, since it has shown in different
studies improvement in functionality to perform different activities of daily
living and pain control, comparing these results with scales such as SF36,
EVA.2-3-4 In addition, the use of the WOMAC scale has allowed periodic
monitoring of patients to see how they respond to the different treatments that
are proposed.
